Project: Business Ops "TIPS" Training Videos
Goal: Reduce team resources invested in continual training of internal clients and external vendors for test in production work.
Solution: Create short (>2 minutes) video series that can be shared across multiple channels and devices using a web based service.
Results: I created short videos for less than $200 total investment that reduced training investment time by 100%. After the videos were created and uploaded to the team SharePoint site, the manager of the team was so impressed that she discontinued the in-person training program, saving her team approximately 500+ man hours a year.
Internal clients are also pleased, as they now are able to watch a short,
entertaining training video at a time more convenient to their needs and
share them with new hires during onboarding.
